June 6 (Reuters) - European statistics agency Eurostat confirmed on Thursday its estimate that gross domestic product (GDP) in the euro zone grew 0.4% in the first quarter compared to the previous three months. Year-on-year the GDP increased by 1.2%, Eurostat said, also confirming its earlier estimate.
