CORRETTO UFFICIALE-Germania, inflazione preliminare marzo ben sotto attese

   BERLIN, March 28 (Reuters) - German consumer prices,
harmonised to compare with other European countries, rose by 1.5
percent on the year and were up 0.6 percent on the month in
March, preliminary data from the Federal Statistics Office
showed on Thursday.
    Analysts in a Reuters poll had forecast a yearly rise of 1.6
percent and a monthly increase of 0.7 percent.
    The Office gave the following breakdown of unharmonised
year-on-year data for March:
