Motorola says CEO Brown's base salary raised to $1.2 mln
Feb 5 (Reuters) - Motorola Inc MOT.N, the world's third-biggest mobile phone maker, said it increased the base salary of its Chief Executive Gregory Brown to $1.2 million from $950,000, effective Jan. 1.
This was in connection with Brown's promotion to the post of CEO, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Brown, who was the chief operating officer of the company, replaced CEO Ed Zander, who stepped down. (Reporting by Purwa Naveen Raman in Bangalore; Editing by Vinu Pilakkott)
