Dec 20 (Reuters) - Sprint Nextel Corp (S.N) on Thursday said it will pay $52.2 million in back taxes and legal fees to settle litigations with more than 350 municipal governments across Missouri.
The settlement agreement must be approved by St. Louis County Circuit Judge Bernhardt Drumm as well as the cities themselves, Sprint Nextel, No. 3 U.S. mobile service, said in a statement.
Also, Sprint Nextel said it will dismiss all tax protest litigation against the cities. (Reporting by Ankur Relia in Bangalore; Editing by Amitha Rajan)
