Dec 10 (Reuters) - Affiliated Computer Services Inc (ACS.N) said its board agreed with Chairman Darwin Deason to remove his exclusive governance rights, including rights to appoint certain officers and recommend directors for election to, or removal from the board.
In connection with the board's evaluation of the company's share repurchase program, Deason also agreed to amend his voting agreement to cap his vote with respect to his currently outstanding shares at 45 percent, the company said.
Under existing terms, any shares purchased by Deason in the future will not be subject to the voting agreement, it added. (Reporting by Shikhar Balwani in Bangalore; Editing by Deepak Kannan)
