CME November volume up 41 percent

Dec 3 (Reuters) - CME Group CME.N, the world's largest derivatives exchange, said average daily trading volume in November averaged 13 million contracts per day, up 41 percent from a year ago.

CME said total electronic volume averaged 10.6 million contracts per day, up 52 percent from the prior November.

Total volume exceeded 273 million contracts for the month -- of which 81 percent were traded electronically, CME said in a statement. (Reporting by Purwa Khandelwal in Bangalore; Editing by Anupama Dwivedi)
