REFILE-ConAgra buys vegetable processing company

Feb 25 (Reuters) - ConAgra Foods Inc (CAG.N) said it acquired Watts Brothers, a privately held vegetable processing and agricultural company, to strengthen its core potato business, Lamb Weston.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Kennewick, Washington-based Watts Brothers currently has about $100 million in annual sales and its farming operation consists of more than 20,000 acres of land, ConAgra said in a statement. (Reporting by Dilipp S. Nag in Bangalore; Editing by Anil D'Silva)
