Francia, a ottobre prezzi consumo +0,1% su mese, +0,2% su anno

PARIS, Nov 12 (Reuters) - French consumer prices rose 0.1 percent in October, giving a
year-on-year inflation rate of 0.2 percent, EU-harmonised data released on Thursday from the
INSEE national statistics office showed.
Economists polled by Reuters had forecast unchanged consumer prices month-on-month and an
increase of 0.1 percent year-on-year.

BACKGROUND
French EU-harmonised inflation fell to an historical low of -0.8 percent in July 2009 and hit an
all-time high of 4.0 percent in July 2008, according to INSEE's records going back to 1991.
