BERLINO, 1 settembre (Reuters) - German gross domestic
product (GDP) contracted by 0.2 percent in the second quarter
compared with the previous three months, the Federal Statistics
Office confirmed in a detailed breakdown of data released on
Monday.
    Compared with the previous year, GDP grew by 0.8 percent,
the Office said. A breakdown of the data follows (percentage
changes). Revised data in brackets:
