PARIGI, 11 agosto (Reuters) - French consumer prices fell 0.4 percent in
July from June, on lower energy and clothing prices, giving a year-on-year
inflation rate of 0.4 percent, EU-harmonised data released on Thursday from the
INSEE national statistics office showed.
That was in line with a flash reading released earlier this month and an
average forecast by economists polled by Reuters and marked a slight pick-up
from the 0.3 percent year-on-year increase seen in June.
