PARIS, April 13 (Reuters) - French consumer prices rose 0.8 percent in March, giving a year-on-year inflation rate of -0.1 percent, EU-harmonised data released on Wednesday from the INSEE national statistics office showed.

French EU-harmonised inflation fell to an historical low of -0.8 percent in July 2009 and hit an all-time high of 4.0 percent in July 2008, according to INSEE's records going back to 1991.
