28 giugno (Reuters) - French consumer spending rose 0.5 percent in May,
beating expectations for a slight fall, data from the INSEE statistics office
showed on Friday. 
    Analysts had forecast on average that spending fell 0.1 
percent, according to a Reuters poll of 16 economists. Estimates 
ranged from a low of -1.0 percent to a high of 0.2 percent.
