 Feb 26 (Reuters) - The Conference Board's U.S. consumer
confidence index fell to 75.0 in February from a downwardly
revised 87.3 in January, the private business research group
reported on Tuesday.
 January's number was originally reported as 87.9
 Economists polled by Reuters had forecast a median reading
of 82.0 in the February index.
