MILAN Dec 4 (Reuters) - Italy's Treasury intends to issue at mid-month 4 billion to 4.5 billion euros of three-month treasury bills (BOTs) and 6.5 billion euros of 12-month bills, market sources said on Thursday.

The three-month issue replaces a similar BOT for 3 billion euros, which is maturing. The 12-month issue replaces a 7.5 billion issue, the sources said.
