LONDRA, 2 luglio (Reuters) - Britain sold 2.5 billion pounds
of conventional gilts due 2039 on Thursday, meeting a lacklustre
reponse from investors who put in relatively low offers for the
bonds.
The Debt Management Office said it was offering an
additional 225 million pounds of the securities in its
post-auction option facility, with results for that operation
due after 1300 GMT.
